COMMUNITY CONNECTION SERVING OUR COMMUNITY WITH WHAT THEY NEED

October | Vol.11 | Week 1


In our last newsletter, we shared that sadly, our 13th Annual Dinner & Auction Fundraiser was canceled due to COVID-19 regulations. We, as a board, really struggled to decide what to do in its place. We agreed that instead of asking businesses for donations that were already struggling to keep their doors open with these difficult economic times, we would do things differently this year. We are redirecting our fundraising efforts to gain monthly supporters. At the end of October, we will be holding a raffle to celebrate another successful year of giving here at Bambinos and to say thank you to our current supporters. We were blessed to receive a larger donation from a local business who wished to help us gain and maintain monthly support and the raffle items will be purchased with these funds. If you are a current Bambinos Builder, you will automatically be entered into this raffle. You don’t need to do a thing to be entered. If you are a winner, you will be contacted. If you are NOT a current monthly supporter, but would like to be, now is a great time! Throughout the entire month of October, if you sign up to support us monthly, you will receive a gift card from a local business in the amount of your first month of support. For example, if you commit to $30.00/month for a year, you will receive a gift card in the amount of $30.00 to a local business who supports Bambinos. We will call you to personally thank you and then give you a choice from a select list of businesses. If sending in a monthly gift isn’t your preferred method, you can send us a lump sum payment of the equivalent amount to receive the same gift offer.


IMPORTANT: In order for your account withdraw on your preferred date of debit, you must visit our website on the day you wish to have your amount withdrawn monthly. Example: In order to have your payment withdrawn on the 15th of every month, please set up your automatic withdrawal on our website on 10/15/20. You are also welcome to mail in a check monthly or set-up bill-pay through your bank directly. If it is your first check to us, please just contact us to let us know you’re becoming a Bambinos Builder so we don’t miss you! In addition to receiving a gift card, you will also be entered into a separate raffle that will be held at the end of October for all of our new Bambinos Builders. Our goal is to DOUBLE the amount of support we receive. We currently receive about $1,200.00 monthly, which keeps our doors open. However, all of the diapers, wipes, formula, and car seats have to be paid for as well. Our auction fundraiser is what pays for these items every year. Without that, we really need additional monthly support from people like YOU. We know that we can be fully funded in these programs as well with your generous support!   Please stay tuned to our Facebook page this month. We will be posting all kinds of info on the costs of the different items we offer to our community free of charge because of supporters like you. Let the Bambinos Builders Drive begin!!!
