Hello Bambinos Builders, Clients, Volunteers, and Community Partners! We are SO excited to finally be able to share the final numbers with you from our auction! Here are some fun highlights and numbers to share with you! Our gross auction proceeds were $35,316. After all, is said and done, we gained a net profit of $15,906...which is absolutely AMAZING! Our Live Auction brought in $8525 - Many thanks to Paul Thompson for bringing his A-game once again to bring in such a great number! The Silent Auction brought in $3650 - over 50 donors made this possible! Our Balloon Pop was once again a big hit and brought in $1200. We had a blast with this...despite technical difficulties with our balloon towers. If you know, you know. Ha! Thanks to the last-minute volunteers who kept our towers standing and shook out winning prize slips. Memories! HUGE thank you to Basey Construction who sponsored and ran the Wine Pull, which raised another $1005. Heads and Tails has become a fun game and apparently, a merry war has formed between Shane Dunaway and Robyn Cooksey who have two years in a row gone head to head...and tail to tail...to raise funds for us. $1590 was raised this year, thanks to Robyn Cooksey, our reigning champion, who for the second year in a row donated her half of the proceeds! Another HUGE and pleasant surprise was that we gained FOURTEEN monthly supporters in one night. We are excited to share that our monthly expenses (rent, utilities, etc.) are now 100% fully funded for the first time ever just in monthly support. This means that the money we earned at the auction can buy more diapers, wipes, formula, car seats, and other specific needs for our families in the coming year. I think the big surprise this year was our Paddle Raise. Thanks to you, we raised $7250 just from that one event! WOW. Just WOW. We are so excited to use these funds to build our "Treehouse" kids' play area that Chloie shared about at the auction. Leftover funds will go toward our covered carport. We can't wait to show you the finished product at our open house on Saturday, November 12 from 10am-3pm. Mark your calendars!
