COMMUNITY CONNECTION SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN NEED
May 2022 | Vol.1 | Week 1

WELCOME OUR NEW SECRETARY! April has been with Bambinos in some capacity, basically since its inception. She and her husband, Scott, have helped with every single fundraiser auction and have both been faithful prayer warriors for this ministry. Bambinos is near and dear to April's heart. As a young mother, it was only because of her church family and an organization similar to Bambinos that she survived the first years as a new mom. April is now the mother of two adult sons; her eldest son experiences autism and her youngest son is an active youth leader at Grace Community Church where the family are members. She works with DSD in special education, works as a PSW with DD services, and volunteers in various other organizations in her spare time. She is a born and bred Oregonian who married her NJ born husband 30 yrs ago.
Hello Supporters!
As most of you know, one of the biggest services we offer is accepting donated baby equipment that we take them apart, clean, research for recalls, and then give them back to families in need. By the time Spring rolls around, we're bursting at the seams. Our annual Spring Swap and Shop (though no one really shops...it's all free) is coming up! The Evangelical Bible Church has graciously offered to allow us to use their gym this year so that weather is not a factor for us. We have sooooooooo much stuff to give away! If you have any unused baby items lying around, now is the time to donate them to us so we have time to look them over. And if you know of anyone who needs baby equipment, now is the time to tell them to mark their calendars! We look forward to seeing you! Glenda J. Dunaway Executive Director
AMAZON SHOPPING?

Also, a friendly reminder with Christmas shopping upon us...there’s another easy way for you to help!
Simply access your Amazon account by shopping through Smile.Amazon.com when doing your normal purchasing. All your account information will stay the same, but Amazon agrees to put 0.5% of your purchase amount towards the charity of your choice. Just select Bambinos Or in the upper left hand corner to make us the charity of choice. It's that easy.
Another great way to help us while shopping on Amazon is to just add a pack of diapers and/or wipes to any order and have it shipped to us! We appreciate any way that help is given.
When we as the Bambinos board lists the people and things we're most thankful for this Thanksgiving season, you're on our list!
HELP SUPPORT BAMBINOS
We are always in need of people who can pledge to send us a monthly gift that we can put toward our expenses. We call these wonderful people "Bambinos Builders." A pledge as little as $5 per month can still make a big difference.
